Just out of interest but how does the lone worker device work. Probably something were going to have to consider as we head down the 'agile worker' route.

It looks like a slightly thicker pass card holder but it has a cellphone chip, gps and motion detectors in it. If I press a button on the back they know where I am and record what is going on and presumably send help rather than have a good laugh. It also allows you to talk to the operator and can detect man-down i.e. no movement.

It's a little bit overkill for what I do, as I don't do a lot of visits or clinics alone, but it's ideal for some staff whose job does put them at risk a lot.




And yes it is potentially an anti skiving control as I guess they can track me, but not really a problem for me.

i got a tug of the traffic lot last week,good cop and bad cop,fell out with bad cop when he called it a fiat,at least good cop had a bit of a clue.
over 60 fiats and lancias now broken!
