Yes Fiat Powertrain Tecnologies (FPT) have just been made (well on Wednesday) the award for the engine that will be in the Abarth Evo as well as already in the Alfa Mito. The award was made at the at the industry Engine EXPO 2010 held in Stuttgart Germany for the last few days.
It beat into second place the Ferrari 4.5-litre V8 no less! The awards are made by a panel of 65 judges from 32 countries so it has had some considerable assesment made by very many experts. I'm sure all those with Abarth Evo's on order will feel the same way as the judges about the power plant when their cars arrive.
