fair enough then thats up to you, i like my money :)

If you are only paying 200 quid then i honestly dont think this topic will bother you too much.... for the likes of me who get quotes ranging from £600 + then it does bother you. There is no way i would pay a £1000 insurance premium for the sake of saving £100 excess if i have accident and £30 less on windowscreen excess....

I went with Aviva in the end, Elephant/Admiral could not match them in the end.

Made sure I was definitely covered the same though, low excess, courtesy car etc

I'm rather scared for when my renewal comes up in May, as currently I haven't been given a perm job since being made redundant. So having car insurance the same or more as the previous year (£950ish) will devastate me :'(

Just renewed mine through Admiral. A little more than I wanted to pay but I have just protected my no claims and someone hit me up the backside last year and goes against me even thou it wasnt my fault!  :( But all in all not bad considering the type and spec of the car!

Just sorted my insurance ready for April.
Will be 21 on the 7th April which means i've delayed my new policy starting until then resulting in a little 9 day break from the car :(
But it saved me over £200 and reduced my excess.
Went with Egg this time who were the cheapet at £1409, with 1 year NCB, 1 accident, and only a £300 excess. :thumb:

I got a quote from Axa for £290 a few weeks ago and went back on again today to be told that they could no longer provide a quote for my car. Not sure what has changed in the last few weeks but the next cheapest is now £510. :-(

Just renewed mine with elephant.  £277 fully comp, protected, courtesy car and legal cover incl.  Up 25% on last year, but that's to be expected with the idiots who can't drive in the snow...thanks !

Apparently its personal injury claims that are forcing the premiums up on all types of insurance.

My insurance is due on Thursday. Anyone heard of/used Allen & Allen before?

Best quote so far... £1600 with over £1000 voluntary excess. Gone up a bit since last year. Gulp.  :-\
