Magnetic Drain/slump Plugs

Any point? thinking of doing and oil change soon, so deciding if i should change for a magnetic one.
i know its the oil filters job but it cant do it any more harm right?

just to know if anyone uses one and your thoughts.

You are right they cannot do any harm. They are a good investment if you intend to keep the cars for a long time. I have not seen them fitted as standard for a few years now. The cars that had them fitted always had some filings on them.

Well worth while - the amount of crap that got stuck to the ones on my Hondas it was unreal

I had one fitted to my Punto, never had anything on it when I did the oil but that's a good thing  :)

ive seen pics before i was on about the ABARTH with one  :thumb:

i suppose you have peace of mind with one no fillings engine is doing ok, mmm maybe after the 3 year warranty is over i'll invest as im not going to see the oil or sump plug next service
