A bit further north, but RPM at Lingerfield on the outskirts of Knaresborough have set up about 4 Abarths already and they have some top equipment. If you want a good job doing, give them a ring.

knaresborough is not too far away so i might just give them a call . do you think they will cut the bumpstops down ?

Just had a quote from rpm it was £350-400 for fitting and it all laser lined up needless to say I will not be getting it done there .  :thumbd:

Thats insane, it shouldn't cost more than £100 ish maybe a bit more with alignment.

Tell me about it the final price with vat added on £420. I got another price from a company on the same industrial park as rpm and they have said £130 for every thing      :thumb:

We just had the alignment done, but nowhere near that cost. Good to hear you have found a less expensive alternative.

decided to fit them myself as the garage i want to do it are fully booked up for 2 weeks. got hold of a spring compressor and all the neccosery tools needed just a couple of questions before i do them tomorrow .

on the springs there is a plastic cover on the top and bottom of the springs do i leave that on ?

how much do i need to cut the bumpstops down by ?

Plastic covers stay on

I only cut around 20-25mm from my bumpstops so they still provide some protection

I hope you have a fairly hefty impact wrench for removing the front top strut bolts  ???
they will not come off without one!

Also take note of how the rubber cup on the front top strut comes off as its very easy to put back on the wrong way  ;)

Have fun
