ODBII Monitoring
« on: July 10, 2011, 12:02:22 PM »
Guys, Just a heads up. After my time with VI, I sent it back, it didn't do as much as i thought it would :-(

On investigation i found the Kiwi WiFi ODBII dongle and 2 apps for the ipad/iphone (DashCommand / Rev)

both are really good! I can highly recommend rev at the moment :D

Im pretty interested in this actually! What kind of outputs are you able to get, suppose its more of a tech/geeky thing than anything else!

quite a bit to be honest. ill try and dump a list of all of them.

DashCommand seems to have more then REV, REV seems a bit more intuitive tho.

with Rev I'm currently using it to view: RPM, Speed, Boost, Intake Temp, Engine load.

I use this OBDII port - http://amzn.to/pvVJOe

Works really well via bluetooth. Its been in my car for months now. Fits really well behind the facia. I rate it.
