Not sure, its only a small cut on the passenger seat (not all the way through).  i'm not sure if it came like that from Autoworld or someone has caught it, but only noticed it other day.  Ive had the car a month, but only been able to drive it this last week due to working away.

had the same thing happen 2 me many years ago on a passenger seat of a recaro leather. Found a local upholstery company who unstitched the panel and put a new one in, if u have any local firms who make sofa`s etc they will put you right .

had a word with brother in law, the upholsterer. he has done glued repairs but depends where it is and how much wear it gets as to how successful it will be.

he.s in woodlands and could have a look at it sunday.

replacing a panel  of leather would,nt be an easy job with the airbags in the seat and all that

is it on the base or the seat back?

It's on the back part of the seat. On the left front strip which is about an inch wide. So in theory it doesn't get sat on, as it's just for support. Hope that makes sense?

just had a look , i see the bit you mean, can,t see that replacing the section is going to be feasible. i guess gluing is the best bet

unless you can convince autoworld that it was like it when you got it Thumb Up
