In my experience ALL dealers are good in the pre-sales area but are let down by their after-sales.
You also need to bear in mind that the Fiat dealer network, as a whole, is not renowned for its customer service.
Fiat is marketing Abarth as a stand-alone franchise at a much higher (customer expectation) level.  However, as a large proportion of Abarth dealers are Fiat dealers this does not bode well.  I think the Abarth/Fiat dealers do not realise they are dealing with an entirely different type of customer to the one who purchases a Fiat 500 Pop.
This needs some education on the Fiat side.  Hopefully this will come to fruition.  In the meantime it is the car's reputation that is driving sales NOT its dealer network.

In my experience excellent sales from platts, i did have slight warantee issues after i bought the car that was slightly long winded but overall the issues was sorted to an high standard and also fiat uk (headquarters) have been excellent in returning calls and resolving the issues to my satisfaction and i hope they keep up the good work.

I've been hugely disappointed with my experience. I don't really see he point of spending all that money on the showrooms if they can't get the basics right.

If you look at the dealer threads ignore the pre sales experience - everyone's gonna get a good service when they haven't handed any money over yet.

I think the Abarth/Fiat dealers do not realise they are dealing with an entirely different type of customer to the one who purchases a Fiat 500 Pop.

I disagree with that, wanting to give your car to a garage and expecting it to come back undamaged in a timely fashion, with all the problems fixed, genuine parts used and not to be told that things are worn out when they are not is pretty universal.

I think experiences will vary from person to person and situation to situation and luck of the draw really.

Aaaargh I'm about to agree with Hozepipe on something - I may need a lie down in a nice dark room.

I've realised recently that some people really enjoy the general bartering and dealing with shifty dealers trying to get one over on them - like its a competition to win  But I spend all day at work trying to make them best of hugely difficult and sometimes distressing situations and get any sense of challenge i need from that. I want my car to bring a little joy and, most importantly, no stress into my life. I'm also not keen on grim movies or tv program's either for the same reason.
