Screen wash leaks into car!!!!

Hi

Had a search and can't find anyone else who has had this issue but I may be wrong.

I noticed this in the recent bad weather when my windscreen got very mucky, very often so I was using lots of screenwash.
When I clean my windscreen my passenger footwell gets wet!
The screenwash is leaking in where the carpet goes under the plastic trim, I only noticed it when I went for my dual controls and due to the carpet and mat being so wet my foot slipped straight off the pedal. (Luckily it was the clutch not eh brake so we stopped)
I then watched as it bubbled in everytime the screen needed a clean - I'm pretty sure it shouldn't do this.

Any ideas?

mine is spraying the inside of the engine bay at the moment, i guess if the squirt were to go in the direction of a hole  in the bulkhead it will find its way in.

my first thought is to check the pipe from the pump. has it just popped off under pressure when it iced up.

 can't check mine til i can get my wheel off, pump is up inside the wheelarch. probably really well hidden on  a 500

think it might be time for a trip to Petch before I'm out of warranty!

Got a really annoying squeak coming from offside rear, screen wash issue and my coolant level randomly drops (have read some posts about this by others seems there is a common fault with a pipe)

Out of warranty? The A500 has only been out for 2 years.

There is also a mileage limit which as a driving instructor I would think she must be getting close to.

And esseesse upgrades give 2 years after the esseesse kit is put on, so if she has an esseesse then it would be a 2 year not 3? Dont know if hers is esseesse though :P

Just to clear that point up.
The 2 year Esse Esse warranty is ONLY on the parts fitted in the kit.
The warranty on the rest of the car remains un changed.

So I imagine most engine parts effected by the remap would be included in that, for example the turbo, even though its the same turbo the remap puts more pressure on it so that would go out of warranty after 2 years?

My understanding is that nothing would be excluded by the warranty as long as it was an officially fitted kit.
If anything included in the 500 kit goes wrong in 2 years I'll believe in father christmas :wave:

major mechanical parts are covered by the 3rd year warranty as well :thumb:

I might be crazy but not crazy enough to let them loose in an esseesse!!!!!
Although I would love a TMC box!!!!

Anyway it is the mileage limit I'm keeping my eye on as I fo about 500 a wk it soon creeps up
