only for the first few yards out of the dealership, when i thought someone had disconnected the steering wheel from the wheels as some kind of joke. fortunately it was a case of the car not being in sport mode so all was welll, and it will never not be in it again  ;D

The last time I drove down the motorway for any length of time.

It doesn't wander so much when not in sport mode and with cruise control on, throttle sensitivity is not an issue.

Apart from that I never switch sport mode off.

Never have it on now at all.
Makes the steering insensitive and horrid.

I find that the non sport mode is quite useful in stop start traffic. It makes setting off smoother. I hate the steering and throttle response with it on so as soon as traffic starts moving sport mode is switched on again!

Yeh, i do this too - but as bad as the steering is without being in sport mode, it leaves an element of surprise for when you put it back on.

But for the most part sport mode is the way to be.

You've got the SS kit. Is the throttle sensitivity the same for both settings?

Doesn't affect the power or accelerator response if you've got the SS kit.  All it does is change the electric steering.  :)
