Trofeo 2011 news

Been to Autosport international today and bumped into Ivan. Had to ask about the 2011 Trofeo season, and he tells me a press release went out this afternoon  ;D

No trip to Monza this year, theyre apparently going to Spa in the summer with the Euro series! Can't find anything written up online, but i've no reason to doubt the information being as it came from the gaffer himself. Series is apparently due to begin in April at Oulton Park

Bet that is the 23/25th April then if it is Oulton Park. Very sentimental. I didn't have Milo but I did go to see some Abarthistis for the first time at Oulton last year. Will definitely be there again if it is true. :thumb:

Oulton was definitely the best race last year, mainly due to the number of cars - let's hope there's a few more 500s on the grid for the 2011 season!  :thumb:

Forgot about Monza! Ok, well Oulton was the best race I saw! roadtrip to spa and the 'ring... Oh yes! :)

Oulton was a great race last year and I seem to remember being uncontrolably excited.....Anyhow, always wanted to go to Spa so it might just have to be done. Wonder what other race(s) they will put the Abarths with at Spa as (she says committing a real sin) I wouldn't have thought it would be the place for the them. Monza strikes me as a better place for them really and kind of a "spiriual home". Oh well, whatever, I'm sure the weekends will be great. I wonder if there will be a Snetterton round???   ;D ;D ;D

Word of caution guys.
The published calender is still provisional.
Remember that Spa was supposed to happen last year and got switched to Monza.
I wouldn't go booking any hotels/ booking holiday until its confirmed to avoid disappointment.
