TURBO Problems
« on: January 20, 2012, 07:01:02 PM »
Hi all

Hopfully someone can shed some light on this. When you put ur foot down and hit about 3.5k revs the car seems to jutter through the rest of the revs. feels like it gets stuck for a couple of seconds on 5k revs then goes again.

could be mis firing but not sure.

anyone know what this could be?

Dan

It isn't major just make sure they've got the part. You might get some warning lights.

thought i was the only one with this ! ... its annoying. is yours standard or remap/esseesse ? , ive remapped (sanspeed stage 1, 170bhp) , but definitely feels "fluffy" at 3-4k rpm , almost like a flat spot , been told its the turbo "backing off" . getting service soon , so will get all pipes etc checked out for leaks , cant remember this happening prior to remap, but maybe coincidental. will report back once checked out.
