I'd have a stock looking A500, more power than would be sensible with the suspension, brakes and 4WD system lifted from the Nissan GT-R :thumb:
Done: White Esseesse wheels, TMC box of magic, Eibach springs, Red wing mirrors, Carbon Wrap Dash

Coming soon: A bigger house

My ultimate Abarth would be mine... That works 100% of the time. I would settle for 80% tho. That would be amazin!

I was going to say I was happy with mine just the way it is.

But now I think of it I want suspension with two modes - how it is currently for country lanes and a super soft mode for places with speed humps(read chelmsley wood)  and lots of potholes (Dudley you know who you are).

Same ten spoke wheels but made out of a secret mega alloy that it is impossible to scratch.

Oh and I'm with the four wheel drive as well - but one you can turn on and off - what the hell I want the choice of front wheel, back wheel and four wheel drive so you can choose which on suits you today. And make that a third mode on the suspension that lifts it up like an off roader so you can choose if the four wheel drive is for grip on normal roads or snow. And intelligent traction control that know what the road conditions are.

Anti tailgater exocet missiles would com in handy occasionally. And the whole car should expand in size for long motorway journeys. And if they can fit tardis technology in the boot so I could move the odd piece of furniture instead of needing to hire a van that would be fab.

And sort the engine so it does 200 to the gallon while your at it.

But generally I'd keep the car the way it is :)

Ok if we are going to be Abarth dreaming but within the realms of possibility then I'll take my Punto Evo with 1750 Tbi engine circa 300bhp and 4wd, suitably adorned with rally style arch blisters (and a better gearbox plus lower seats  ::) ;D )

Audi are doing it A1 Quattro come on Abarth do it better :D Audi don't even Rally as much as the Punto

Unfortunately only 333 units planned :(
And still I prefer a real quattro or four-wheel drive over the Haldex stuff...

As to my Ultimate Abarth:
For me an Abarth must be small, light and uncomplicated.

So I stick with the FWD, but add a better suspension, geometry and LSD.
This with a better and shorter 6-speed gearbox.

Engine wise a nice and durable 240+ bhp based on a GT2554R that is a fair compromise between daily driver and track-usability.

It should also be a little lighter and more important have a better weight distribution...
