I need eyes in the back of my head..........Whenever I park my car I can't walk away from it without looking at it! The next time I see it will be when I'm walking towards it and that just seems too long to wait.

We have the blinds open on the patio doors so we can see the car i keep catching Bev looking
at it when we are watching tv, then she denies she has been, can't remember doing this with
any other car i have owned. is this car special i wonder.

Want to know the truth here? Im having second thoughts about the order Ive just put in for the megan RS 250 cup reason being are:

1) Still look over my shoulder at it every time I walk away.
2) Still love the look of shock and awe on any passengers face first time they ever get taken anywhere in it.
3) Still love the Ideal behind the Abarth brand ie small engine in a small car producing so much power excitement and passion.
4) Still love the madness behind all of abarths Ideas just look at the abarths of old where you had to keep the boot open or the seats didnt function properly because comfort was first on the list.
5) still even after over a year of ownership think that I made the right choice.
6) still even now clean and wax the car every weekend.
7) still plan on just what I could do to make my car more mine.

All this dispite all the faults ive had since 27th November 2009 the day that I fell back in love with driving again or more to the point the day I got rid of my boring astra and drove my brand new Abarth Grande Punto off the forecourt at Research Nuneaton.

Its amazing how often journeys in the car magically seem to be the long way round  Whistle They recently opened a new stretch of road near me that hardly anyone uses in the morning, adds 15 minutes to my journey time but I means I get a couple of miles at something other than 20mph crawl  Thumb Up

Friends and family laugh at me whenever I park anywhere other than my drive as I always say goodbye to mine when I walk away. Whistle

Even after 20 months ownership I still have to look back at mine when ever I park it, and I cannot think of anything I would change it for.

Hahaha! Thank God I'm not the only one!  My neighbours think I've lost the plot! They see me collecting the milk off the doorstep and talking to the car!  Things like "Good morning baby" ... and I even pat the rear light cluster as I pass it if I haven't been out for a drive that day!  Whistle

Oh... and if the car is really dusty and gritty (I live on an unmade road), I get a watering can, stand on the patio and rinse off the car saying "you are a really dirty boy..."  Whistle  I get SO many people commenting that it won't groiw any bigger by watering it and talking to it!!!  Roll Eyes

I agree, anybody who owns this car brand has brought ot for a reason. The reason could be the georgous look of the car,the performance, the look on peoples faces when you pul up at the traffic lights,The list is endless abd now i have the ss kit fitted its like i have been given an even better car than i had before, which i did not think was possible!I love my car, enough said Wave
