What a great way to waste a considerable amount of time! SJH is indeed waiting for a grey A500. No idea of the status code at the mo. but must find out next week....

When you have to wait 3 months or so for your car time passes very slowly as very many people on here will tell you. When did you place your order? If you find out your status then it will give an idea as to where it is for production in Tychy (the Polish plant where the A500 is produced) What you are looking for is a status 20 to a status 30 and then you can look at the ships out of Antwerp for a status 35 and watch your car sail round to Portbury!!!

By the way your question in the Off Topic section Football - whoes your team  -  Black stripes or red? or in Italian - Annerisce le strisce o rosso?  well my choice was  nessuna strisce or no stripes. I have the stealth trim option or Plain and Simple.

Anyway get in contact with your dealer and find out the status code for your order.

Will do! Stealth is good. Nearly went with that myself but decided on black which is between stealth and "in your face" red!

No chequered roof; no sunroof; and no scorpions. Just black stripes and titanium esseesse wheels (oh, and sabelt seats - could not resist....)

Thanks for the pics - not seen one before and doesn't seem to be the most popular option. Looks great!

I hope it is only a matter of weeks now. Grin

If you were to put anything Red on your A500 then this might be the choice. As well as my metal Abarth keyring the other is a metal LFC keyring and a picture of my children but im sure that could be another thread.

Tee hee! As to the car - ordered mid-feb; fixed in production mid-march so a while yet before I need to start wasting the time looking at ships! (Which is just as well given the amount of work on my desk...). However, there is every possibility I will burst with excitement before then.....

That was a very quick fixed in production did the dealer already have a Grey on a speculative Status 10 / 13 order on already when you placed your order. Anyway if it was produced at week 11 (wc15/03) then you should have a Status 20 Asssigned showing by now if not (it is still shown as Status 16)it has certainly not been produced yet.

In Status 20 it will move out to the holding area at Tychy and then be assigned on to a train to move across Europe up to Verrebroek Antwerp where it will then be stored and this will show as Status 30.

If your order is Status 35 then it is on the Grande Napoli is out of Verrebroek to be in tomorrow 1st) at Portbury

If it is Status 30 it is likely to be Grande Europa which is due in Friday 9th (this then goes on to Cork)
or Grande Colonia due Saturday 10th (this then goes down to Setubal) there is also in the schedule Grande Portogallo due in Tuesday 13th

If your status is Status 20 then it might not be until mid end April till it gets on a boat.

Maybe we need to start a tread with pictures of messy desks because my collegues think i would be the winner!!!!!

They did have a grey one on order but I didn't want it as it had a red interior and couldn't be changed, so, it was a completely new order unfortunately.

As to the desk - good thread but I'd win hands down at the moment!

Here we are for those agitated waiters of new cars from factory orders check your status code to work out which ship your car is coming in on.

Currently in at Berth 4 is the GRAND BENELUX in from ANTWERP was down for Friday 9th but is in today currently off loading pushes off at 22:00 this evening so is busy unloading at the moment. It is then over to Cork.

Here is the Grimaldi Schedule for the month ahead at Portbury obviously subject to change.

Thur 08 Apr   GRANDE EUROPA             ANTWERP Verrebroek was down for Fri 9th
Sat 10 Apr     GRANDE COLONIA           ANTWERP Verrebroek
Sun 11 Apr    GRANDE ROMA                SETUBAL
Mon 12 Apr    GRANDE PORTOGALLO     ANTWERP Verrebroek
Thur 15 Apr    GRANDE ANVERSA           ANTWERP Verrebroek
Fri 16 Apr       GRANDE MEDITERRANEO  SETUBAL
Mon 19 Apr     GRANDE DETROIT            ANTWERP Verrebroek
Thur 22 Apr    GRANDE SPAGNA             VALENCIA
Fri 23 Apr       GRANDE SCANDINAVIA     SETUBAL

Fri 30 Apr      GRANDE SICLIA                ANTWERP Verrebroek

For those looking at this for the first time and wondering what this means if you are waiting for an A500 they come in from ANTWERP Verrebroek (as do F500 F Pandas) and AGP come in from Med sailings Setubal Valencia.

Don’t forget when you are really impatient you can track your ship cutting through the sea at 19/20kn on www.marinetraffic.com

I was just going to let you know that it wasn't going to be the Grande Anversa but i see you have realised.

Anyway the Grande Roma will be in Berth 3 tomorrow with its delivery from the med.

But late Wednesday early Thursday at Portbury will be the one you have been waiting for Grande Portogallo you can see on Marinetraffic.com  that it is currently loading up your Campovola A500 at ANTWERP Verrebroek. So in theory your status should be showing 35 with your dealer very soon.

Happy tracking

I hope you are right as the Portogallo is underway! That is my evening sorted then..... Wink

p.s. It might be my other half's birthday tomorrow but he'll not be getting any presents if he keeps on with the "storms forcast for the Bristol Channel tonight" line of conversation!

Well it is booked in at Berth 4. Currently the the weather at Portbury is wind 5kts and is calming (17kt gust in last hour) with 58% humidty but dry. Grande Portogallo is not quite up to speed yet 19 to 20 kts normally

Grande Roma is currently in Berth 3 but is pushing out tonight but no A500's on it anyway.

Happy tracking
