agp Intercooler
« on: October 30, 2010, 07:20:54 PM »
I have recently changed my intercooler on my agp to a forge one. I am wanting to sell my old intercooler as i no longer require it. Is the abarth punto intercooler the same as the 1.9 sporting gp or is it the same as the 1.4 tjet? Just wanting to no so I know what I can list it as why i come to sell it.

Thinkin about getting the forge one...

Any dyno graphs or anything (before/after) ?

What have you done to your car? any idea on bhp/torque? you running SS or NP ?

I've got a cat back exhaust, TMC Tuning box and panel filter and last RR god 189.4 bhp / 219.1 lb / ft.

Car is great, just power seems to run out sooo quickly.

Ben.

1.9 Sporting intercooler is different than the Abarth unit, its mounted vertically behind the front bulkhead making almost no improvement over not having one! :thumb:

Not sure about the tjet, thought they were both the same?

A standard T-jet intercooler was used on the Abarth.

Yes the Abarth has the intercooler from a t-jet. I used fitting instructions from the t-jet to install my new intercooler and the one's in the pictures were exactly the same to mine.

red dot london

Nick, Mr Dog has nothing but good things to say about Red Dot as he's used them again and again from his Alfa days.

yeah cars alot better now, my car was remapped before it was fitted and seems to boost for alot longer.

Out of interest, does the power come in like it did before, nice and smoothly or has it changed the power delivery to a bigger hit but all in one hit?
