Ring a garage to see if they have the gear to remove the locking nuts.
Maybe your Abarth dealership has one, or AA is your other option.
I know a spare locking nut can take ages to get hold of, i gave up in the end.

I agree with Kev, you need a plan b. As I said before it took 3 locking nuts to get one off, luckily they had the right ones in stock.

I asked the chap at Fiat why they keep breaking and he said its where they have been used quite a bit it air gun drills shaking backwards and forwards. I said why don't they make them stronger then? He said.. No comment...  >:(

The other problem with them is that the engagement male to female of the locking nut is very shallow
so it doesnt get a lot to grip and when you start to turn the nut with a rachet it tends to want to slip out.
I think it is simply a matter of cost, higher grade steel costs more, hence higher production costs.
In a words they are rubbish. :(
