forge dump valve - now fits punto ?

apparently there dump valve with the solinoid now fits the punto, so should work with our cars ?

is this the Forge Split-r or what ever its called? I have one of these in the garage somewhere I think from when I have my Ibiza Cupra...

To be honest tho, it was sh*te.... sounded crap... Ended up using a turbosmart one (also in the garage somewhere)...

I wonder if they've actually tested this on an AGP or AGP Esseesse.
I emailed them a few weeks ago as I was looking at new dv's and they said they didn't know if this one would be suitable but they'd let me go down and test a few out before purchasing.
I'd be a bit wary about just buying this one now.

This I's not a splitter it comes with a solinoid, the dump valve is the same for all grande punto's inc the abarths aparently

Apparently the solenoid plugs into the same plug as the TMC box, so you cant run the TMC box and DV together

I have also read that, I'm not bothered as I'm changing the actuator then getting a remap

As long as you know, it would suck buying the DV then finding out you cant use it without sacraficing the TMC, and its definately not worth losing power for a noise :P

Yeh it would :P as I said I'm trying the filter mod first for the noise might be happy with that who knows

As Tue filter needs to be 28mm I'd on the agp I might try different size filters to.see if there's a diff in noise (moped filters are 28mm I'd as well and are quite a bit large over all size than breathers)

Well on my 500SS I had the little pop off filter and it sounded pretty good, real loud... I now have the larger GTT 'grenade pop off' that came with the induction kit, and its definately a lot bigger than the little bmc one I had, maybe even as much as twice the size, noise difference isn't noticeable, but then its drowned out a little from the induction note :P

Haha I miss the noise of my old bmc on my saxo vtr and the full straight through piper system, will see what the forge filter I have ordered looks like if its to small ill go bigger as iv heard about problems when they cant move the dumped air fast enough
