Welcome to new owners of the new APE.
If the looks are as unpopular as most people think - there might be a rampant 2nd-hand market (and good residual prices) for the 'original' AGP......?!?
Look how coveted (and prices inflated) a Mk1 Golf GTI (unmodified) is...........
We could all be sitting on a future classic.....!

Residual values for the AGP have been very strong anyway.

The UK press photos for the Evo have been released, and I've uploaded a few of them onto Flickr:

Here's a couple to get you started...

yeah my dealer said the wheels will fit but having said that the sales manager also said the SS model was going to be 205bhp which i replied i will be extremely shocked if it makes that and the other sales guy also said he cant see that but suppose we will just have to wait and see.

I have ordered an APE in White, with the Stripes, Climate, Auto Windscreen Wipers, Auto Dim Mirror, and Sunroof. So I think i may well be the first on this site!

im still not sure about the evo, will see it in the flesh when i go dwn to research in the next day or 2 to pick my agp up...theyve had it for a month for a gearbox fault. im not sure about the colour coded side skirts, i think the black plastic skirts on the agp break up the car nicely. inside looks alot cheaper than the agp from those pics, we'll c tho! how much is it up for??

Its £16500 standard. The only thing in my opinion which lets it down is the dash, its awful, way too much plastic for me,let me know when you see it in the flesh what you think.

There has been so much written about the APE, that I really would like to see it in the flesh before I make my mind up.

I take into account that over the years various model changes have produced comments that the new model will never be as good as the old. Some Porsche 356 followers were very critical of the new fangled 911, with its 6 cylinder engine, and what about the jelly mould Sierras?
