Assetto kit and insurence,

i was woundering guys, how do i go about insuring the car if i was to get the Assetto kit,

what im getting at is, when you get a quote online theses an option to select the SS spec but their isnt an option for the assetto kit.

If i phoned up would they know what i was on about?

lol thx, it might be worth saving up another 2k just to avoid the hassel !! ;)

im still not sure which to go for as yet, i guess iv got till christmas to decided, im deffinatly having one or the other though :)

Do you mind if i ask what prices you have been quoted to have the Assetto Kit fitted?

Also what springs do they use????

I had originally thought about the SS kit but have been getting conflicting prices from dealers!

how much is SS kit these days, there was talk of an increase when mine was done but never heard any more about it

It hasn't gone up at all.
The Assetto kit has always been £2750 and the Esse Esse is £3995 :thumb:

hmmm really.... lol shows how much i know! :P .... i honestly have thought all along that the assetto kit was 2k....  :oops: DOH!

I paid a straight 2k for my assetto kit  ;)

Am I actually the only person on here who bought the AGP with the assetto?!

Does the Assetto have the same time limit as the SS, i.e. within the first year, or can it be fitted later? I am reconsidering it but the first year is almost up.

Any elaboration kits have to be fitted within 12 months or 12000 miles.
The warranty on the kit (2 years) cannot out live the warranty on the car (3 years)

what happened if you sighned something to say that the warranty was only to last until the end of the cars, would they allow it?
