brakes started sqealing again

I had my anti sqeal things fitted about 2 months ago which worked really well...just a very quiet one every now and then which i could live with. Last few days its had started to be like it was before they were fitted. Has anyone taken it further? Ive heard they can fit different pads?? Abarth cant just say tough live with it  :-\

I had different pads fitted, but my brakes squeal now and again.

There's all kinds of cr4p on the roads right now.

Live with it (throught the winter anyway).

mine still squeal even with the new pads and shims and yeah even after the new pads where tried they just said live with it (litteraly said live with it) wou;dnt be so bad but the car orriginally before they cut huge chunks out of the pad and fitted those shims the breaks were great now they feel spongey and a little bit as if they arnt even there at times.

and yeah when they cut chunks out my pads it was roughly half the pad surface area and I was told this wont effect performance at all yeah right!

get used to it is not the answer we should be hearing off a manufacture of a new car tho. We all need to keep the pressure on them. Like i was told "fiat wont do anything about it until they are forced to"

How often to you wash the wheels? Giving them a regular spray with the pressure washer helps mine in these dirty months.

Mine only squeeled in the beginning and then never again - few days back, I heard the noise again and it shown that front pads needed replacement ;)

They may not squeek but i go to the Manual car wash each week & when i come out...for a few seconds i thought i was driving a Toyota!!! No  response from emm! So give me squeeking brakes any day to none!  :thumb:
