Hi everyone just to let you know the esseesse kit has come down in price to an affordable 2995 on ebay from research garage,i think i will start saving the pennies for that one. Is it group 17 insurance? And does anyone regret having there's done??

just found it , doesn,t include fitting. says fitting available for a small charge, but theres 13 hours labour involved Whistle

quick calculation at say £75 per hour and its £975.
if you had it fitted yourself it would have no warranty and would surely invalidate your existing warranty,

doesn,t look much of a bargain

There are instructions in the box but unless you can hook the car up to the examiner system then you wont get it going.
Mike the tech did my last one and it had to sit on the ramp over night as the internet connection was down.
To set up the new ECU there is a one shot download from Abarth that updates the ECU. One shot meaning the software can only be used once Thumb Up

what about fuel consumption? And what about performance? As some people recon there is not much difference in performance? Please advise as I'm on the verge of getting this kit,and people like yourself know the car well as you have the kit!  Thumb Up

what colour rims did you have? And what did the insurance company say? As some people tell me that it is not recongised everywhere!!! And more to the point who much fun is it to drive on a scale of one to ten? Huh?

I much prefered the SS'd AGP to the standard, certainly would have been on the drive if the 500 wasn't just so darn funny

It is a sliightly stiffer ride. There is more urgency in the engine too. whether its worth the money.... Im not sure, i know it is for lloyd as he love his fiat and is gonna keep his car a long time so its worth it. for me, i think it makes a good value warm hatch expensive.

I think it's as good as sold to be honest,I just value peoples opions, the grey rims do look nice also I have to admit, the only thing that worries me is the resale value! As if you look on eBay ss agp are going for 18000 but nobody is touching them!! Why??
