No, sorry.  Third is one of the best gears for Scorpi.  He takes it to the max and a little higher even. I can do 30 as well as 80 in third and the rev limiter will finally kick in and put me in place to shift.  What year was your car made, wondering if there is any difference to the transmission and gearbox from a GPA sold in September 2008.

I had something similar,

Out foot down, full boost, revs would die, come back, then die, then give me warning messages, had new boost/map sensors fitted and sorts feels better...

also now had a new dump valve fitted and car feels nice again..

Yup, mine also does it without warnings, sometimes it will limp, other times it won't..

Has it gone away since having everything fitted?

Sort of, I get cut outs still now and then, Abarth really don't know whats up with it anymore either... its great!

The MAP sensor did help tho... doesn't do it as much.

So far I've had the following replaced:

Turbo,
ECU,
Boost Sensor,
MAP Sensor,
Dump Valve.
