I got some engine oil and a filter to change myself from Bauer Millett and on their system the oil used for both the 155GPA and esseesse version during service is the selenia 5w-40, however they did have the silver 2L tins branded Abarth 10w-50 which is what I have put in. Must say with the filter housing fully drained she took a good 3Litres if not a little more. They told me that Selenia recommend the 10w-50 for the Abarth product.

the oil comes in 2 litre cans. i was charged for two cans but they gave the leftover to me for topping up as and when

Yup. Same here.

Lipscomb didn't offer me the rest of the tin, there was 2x 2ltr abarth selina oil on the invoice. I didn't ask for the rest, prob should have though.

After my service Richard Hardies left the remainder of the unused oil in the can, in the car.

They should hand over the remaining unused oil in the tin (since you have been invoiced for it).

I put in nearer to 3.5 litres after a full drain leaving it to drip for 3 hours.

Yes thats a more realistic figure. I put that amount in. 2.6L seems a little short to have it near full.

Yea that would be the correct figure. Don't know why Abarth would give you a figure for changing oil without changing the filter!

Quite a few manufacturers do that, why, your guess is as good as mine.
