Do the garage put this oil in during the service, if not where do you buy it from and if your supplying your own oil do they knock this of the service charge 

the dealer will supply this oil to service the SS but it might not be the cheapest way of getting it.

2 litres was £16.72 at gaydon yesterday so i bought 2 tins to cover my next oil change.

as it comes in 2 litre tins and the service uses 3.3 litres they should return to you the unused oil.

my last service at petches used my own oil, although it did originate from petches, i bought it earlier when they were doing it at a good price and i thought i would need oil for topping up, my last punto would run out between services. as it happens the AGP has not used a drop between 6000 mile changes.

they should use it automatically on the SS, its specified in the service book, but i'd check with them, most dealers haven't read the book
