I really like the badge and the name, but only on a genuine Esseesse!

i have my badges on the back of the car...didn't want them fitted. Don't like them.

but i think a standard one should't have them... it's like a Fiat Punto having the Abarth badges lol

I've already done it as some of you know got the badge on the back and red esseesse on wing mirrors on my standard one but I think £4000 is alot to get the kit and I'm doing mods to the car anyway myself.

Just need the badge for the engine cover

If it's not an SS then it shouldn't have the badge. If someone has a standard Fiat Grande Punto with Abarth badges we laugh. There's no difference. It's not an SS so don't try to make it look like it :thumb:

that was my concern that people would think that.

I wouldnt do it to any other car I did have just a normal GP active never did it to that to be honest by what I was told the exhaust gave it away that it was just a standard which will be changed at some point anyway which I've planned to do from the start.

With other people who have done that to their cars people immediately can tell its just been stuck on and looks wrong i.e an GP active with badges put on it dont look out of place at all to me it's just part of the exterior design I've done to the car along with the stripes etc

I do enjoy the car it's only the second car I've owned and I enjoy it so much last one I never did anything to it it's my way of getting this mad side out of me reminds me of this top gear episode when jeremy gets some classic maserati then finds out it's not the spec he thinks it was because a badge was stuck on.

Since I've put the induction kit on it has made me think about it because no ss version has that sound coming from it.

This on here is the first opinion i've had where people have said no it's not right all other opinions have been go for it I want so will have a think on it still as I'm deciding if I want the sabelt seats and if ss kit(keeping current induction kit) is worth it for the price still.

Peoples opinions here will be different because we know what is and what isn't. You can do what you want to standard AGP but if you haven't got those to crates then you don't have an SS. Love your car for what it is. It doesn't need SS badges. Yours doesn't need a label. Yours is individual.

It's a shame Abarth came over all pc and didn't use an original Abarth SS badge.

Having driven both I would say the SS on the AGP is worth it, with the strengthening it gives you it also means it has more tuning potential.

Moding an NP? Go for it with the Forge (and other) induction kits and the exhaust options you can improve on it without the SS kit.

As to the badges on a NP? Up to the individual but I know I would mentally tag it as wrong.
