The best offer I've had for my 59 Red SS with Skydome and Climate was £10,500...  My local abarth dealer offered me £8,500.

You've either got to take a hit and sell or keep it - I'm paying over £2000 a year extra by keeping the SS but I don't want to face the loss of part exchanging..

Sucks but there you go :(

If I was offered anything over 8k I am going to take it as the long term prices are not looking so good now with allot of dealers confused and price it as a high end fiat not a abarth.

My abarth garage said they would not touch it as they cant sell them at all no one is interested.

I got 9 and a half for mine trade in 3 weeks ago, and they sold it off there forecourt within a week, so they are selling.

Mine was 58 plate esseesse. Leather, full Abarth service history, just turned 30k miles. Which my dealer says is high mileage. They offered £7000 for it.

Mine is early 09 EsseEsse with 36k on the clock, most I was offered was 7k trade in!
Seems stupid to sell at these prices which is why I decided to keep it.

Are these Abarth dealer prices as mine was a 59 plate NP with 17000 on clock, and it was litterally 3 weeks ago.

Yep, Wessex cardiff offered 7k. Renault said they'd match it but go no higher as they'd trade it straight to Wessex anyway. Honda offered me £7500 8 months ago.
Saying that I do know someone got £9500 or £10500 on his EsseEsse 2 weeks back against an Alfa Romeo. So I suppose it can be done if you get the right person.

It's a buyer's market at the moment, I'm afraid. With the right specification, right mileage and right price, it will sell but it's more a question of 'when' like when someone is looking for a job. The days when anyone could walk into a job left, centre and right are long gone.

I have had the A500c just over 13 months now and quite frankly, I don't want to sell it right now due to the infamous depreciation curse as I am in it for the long term. It goes without saying 'penny wise, pound foolish'.

I did ask Bauer and Research for a valuation a few months ago but I decided not to take it any further.

Let's just say that the residual value is not as good as any of us expected as I believe the issues is, not many people know about the brand, hence not many people will buy something they know nothing about. The highest I got offered for my agp ss was 10.500 3 months ago against a part ex on an evo. But I still had to find the extra six grand, so I decided to keep it! But as the petrol prices keep going up I may now need to sell to get a diesel as at the mo it's costin £40 a week and rising  :'(

£40 a week.....I'd be happy with that. I use my car for work so goes without saying that I'll use more fuel but I'm averaging around £100 a week :thumbd:
I can't complain though, I didn't buy the car for its fuel economy.

Might take the 8k being offered then as I am going to be doing lots of miles and the time it 3 years old would have done at least 45k if not 50k might be hard to shift then

i dont want to sell mine at all but i have no choice i need 3 grand by feb so i can buy my dads van .... else i completly screwed for work.

theres no way i can afford to run a van and a car at the same time - van insurence is a killer!

+ i have a baby on the way! (eeeek) ;)

however no garage i have spoke to yet will touch my AGP ..... and it certainly isnt going to sell private as its due taxing at the end of the month and an MOT in december so unless i get these sorted no ones going to touch it as a private sale.... having little to no work for the past 6 months isnt looking great on that front though ><

so....

anyone want to buy my AGP? ;) pretty please?
