Hello everyone.
My name's Colin, and as I took delivery of a brand new Pasadoble Red 500 just one week ago, thought I would sign up here and say "hello".
It's all Hertz' fault! I rented one from LHR a few weeks ago, and was so smitten it it, that I decided to buy one. As luck would have it, there was a car in the spec I wanted that had arrived in the dealer a day before I paid a visit, so I did not have long to wait to take delivery.
The Abarth is a second car, a weekend "toy" if you like, joining a 2 year old Audi S6 which is my weekday motorway machine.
By way of background, I've been mad about cars since the age of about 2. Latterly I have been one of the chief contributors to another Forum and Web-site, which you can find by looking for themotor.net where, among other things you will find my Road Test of the Abarth 500 I rented, and lots of reports on events that The Motor has attended.
Most recently, I was at Prescott for "La Vie en Bleu", and the Abarth got a demo run up the famous hill there, less than 24 hours after I collected it, and with just 150 miles on the clock. Not many cars can claim that, I suspect!
All being well, I should be at Stanford Hall on Sunday, and look foward to meetin anyone who is there.
