Ciao a tutti from Somerset!
« on: January 29, 2012, 12:08:14 PM »
Ok I admit it I have OCA500D!  (Obsessive compulsive A500 disorder)  I am a new owner of a black A500 Esseesse and am smitten.  To think I was originally looking at an Alfa 159ti last year and then had an out of the blue test drive at Wessex Bristol and just couldn't stop smiling.  My Mrs is still in a state of shock ("but you wanted an Alfa 159!")

Alfonso - Stealth Scorpion Black 500 Esseesse, Koni FSD, black leather, climate, skydome, 17" 10 spokes (thought I preferred them, now not so sure!), xenons.

You won't regret it.  Welcome to the forum;  friendly place, if not a bit crazy at times.

159ti's are stunning, but after two aborted attempted attempts to drive one involving punctures, cat poo and holiday being cancelled (don't ask!)  I walked across to the "other side" of the Wessex showroom and was converted...... ;D :)

Where in Somerset are you?

Just north of Castle Cary.  Where are you?  I have only seen a couple of white ones locally, one driving through Bruton on Boxing Day and the other on my daily commute to Bristol, which is now a lot more enjoyable  ;)

Ah right. I'm the other side of Taunton. And I spend most weekends in Bristol but never usually week days, so unlikely to spot you on the roads.. :thumbd:

I'm guessing it was the turbo diesel 150hp version? I was looking at 150/170 hp, so maybe just as well didnt get to sample one..   They are a heavy car and besides am more than happy with "Alfonso"  8) :)
