Err, Hi! I'm the new chap!
« on: October 26, 2010, 06:51:30 PM »
After a week's break in Lake Garda with the wife (and no 2 and 4 yr old daughters to keeps us occupied!), I arrived back in rainy blighty with a hankering for a 500 Abarth after driving a little Fiat 500 whilst away. I thought when I arrived back home reality would set in, I would grow up and act my advanced years and lose the eye of the tiger, but after a test drive last weekend it has ended up a scratch that needs itching! Anyway 2 weeks later (and numerous visits to this site, voyeur that I am!) I have traded my S2000 and just signed all the paperwork at Thames for my new car which I pick up on Friday morning. It's white, red leather, 17" 10 spokes, skydome, climate, alloy gearshift, auto dimming mirror and no stickers which was pretty much the spec I would have wanted and with no 12 week wait. Instant gratification! Looking forward to mucking about around the lanes in my new little buggy as I haven't had a front wheel drive car since the mid 90's!

Thanks, I think I will. It just made me smile when I sat in it and more when I drove it. Wicked little motor!

No biscuits for me.......! He's a top man, has looked after me really well through the huge spec changes (Black, 17's and that's it to white and everything!). A pretty patient guy! Anyway, hello to everyone, I will no doubt bore you with my ramblings over the coming weeks and months. I work by myself at home so need a bit of interaction to break up the day!

I will get a couple of pics up over the weekend, nothing flash like the torchy, light, multicoloured outline one's I saw on a thread but pics nonetheless and I will get to a meet. Are there many around Berks, Bucks, Herts?

Cheers chaps. I want to get involved in this TMC business but thought I would run the little fella for a bit and then if I get a hankering for some more ooomph then get stuck in. problem is I'm a mechanical retard and fitting it would just end in tears!

Welcome!

Another "hard sell" from Ajay, I note.......... at least he seems consistently to look after his prospects and customers (just like he did for me!).

You will enjoy the car once you take possession..... that's an observation, not an order!
