Hi, I'm Jamie from Ayr and I have today placed an order for a A500 ;D

We have been on the look out for a suitable replacement for an Audi A2 and really wanted to get something fun this time. On the list were a Clio 200 Cup and Mini Cooper S until last week when I saw the A500s at the dealer in Edinburgh when through with work - they looked superb!!

Saturday past was test drive day for the Clio and Mini so we arranged to drive the Abarth as well with Jaclyn in Glasgow. Great service and great test drive resulting in me placing the order this afternoon.

Spec wise we've gone for base white, black leather interior, 10 spoke alloys and, red stripes and mirrors. Looks to be a fairly common combination on the forum but was the perfect choice for us.

Now just got to wait until September for it to arrive!!

My family is from Tarbolton.
Various cousins still live in Ayr and I'm up there once a year (from Hertfordshire).
This is the perfect car for the roads around your way - all the tight twisties, and rolling countryside. Beautiful. :thumb:

thanks for the warm welcome! Certainly the forum and youtube will keep me going for the next couple of months or so!!

Sawbomartin - yeah there are some nice roads near here for it once its nicely run in. Do you bring your Abarth north when visiting?

hello and welcom nice choice of car nice place to live originally from girvan with lots of family still in ayr there are a lot of nice roads around there and alot of specs speed cameras to. :thumb:

No it's so cheap on Ryanair, Stansted to Prestwick cost me £38 return last time.
Might try to take it as hand luggage next time though  :thumb:

Pity it's not Easyjet - you can take as much hand luggage as you like for free so longer as you can lift it into an overhead locker.....
