Hi everyone,

Put a deposit down on a new a500 last weekend. It's a standard 135 in White with updated 17'' wheels and none leather. Gone for no vinyls for a bit of a stelth look.

Really enjoyed the test drive and they go really well.

I've also got a Twin Turbo Supra which I plan to sell. Obviously the power is nothing like the Supra but I hoping the fun factor will come from the agility. Anyone else done the similar?

Also done some trackdays in the Supra and seen a few A500's there before, anyone been on a trackday in their Abarth, just wondered how you got on?

Will post pics when the we pic the car up. :)

Lots of people tracking A500s on here so there will be plenty of scope to get on track with other, check the MoT forum on here, one is being organised for Dec 2nd.

Seeing a standard A500 will make a change most are modded in 5 mins it seems ;D

Blimey that is close, I'll keep an eye out for you.

Anyway picked the car up on Friday evening, drove it home with a satisfying smile. Read the forums Friday evening including the 'Leave the sport button on bit' Went out in the car Saturday (after depressing the sport button!!) and wowsers this is a serious pocket rocket!!!  :) Got some really good twistys heading up towards Thornbury and I'm amazed how well it goes round. Not going crazy on the throttle at the minute to give it a chance to run in but so far seriously good....  

Do you guys ever meet up? Be good to get into the fold  8)
