OH MAN!!!!

so there I was in slough yesterday afternoon, 32c outside, not a cloud, couldn't be better! left dealer feedback in proper section.

so ok, driving at 5pm around the M25 wasn't the best idea, but once on home soil, I started to have fun, and kept having fun until we both got tired and went home at 11pm.

I took her ( un-named as yet ) round to my dad's. Now you have to picture my parents, both over 65, although he does have some red horses in his garage, some would say the abarth's big cousin, but I would call them conservative, laid back, old fashioned in many respects.... anyway, they were loving the look and then said, take us for a ride! well do I need to be asked twice
I did wonder if I should floor it off their drive, ala Magnum style, but waited until on the road and they were like OMG :o followed by a massive  ;D followed by a voice in the back telling my dad, she wants one! Think that would make her at 68 the worlds oldest Abarth owner  ;D

The kids were funny, took them and the missus for a quick spin, my kids used to a family saloon, complained there was no armrest in the rear, until I put my foot down as they were saying it, and then they both went " doesn't matter, wow this is BRILLIANT DAD" I have now been asked if we can take the "BATH" to sports day today instead of mums, the kids think its brilliant, and when we got home, were showing the other kids on our street, and my kids are just standing there so proud lol

So initial reactions, its quicker than the test drive, the sport mode is fab, the bluetooth kit is as good as the audi system, the reception being quality. The finish on the red leather, the stitching on the gear nob, wheel, nice and I love the shape of the steering wheel, the straight bit at the bottom, reminds me so formula one  ;D

The monza sounds amazing, especially when I floored it as I went under the M25 and it echoed  ;D The SS titanium wheels look fab against the bossa nova, the red upgraded brakes look brilliant behind it.

and you know what, everyone has commented on when seeing the boot, " oh its bigger than I thought " I think its brilliant, it has everything you need, and a whole lot more, Its like a Tardis!

Ok so I am still under 100 miles, 70 to be precise in one day, and will update, prob start something in the members cars section, once I cleaned the flies off the front  ::)

A big fly saw my Abarth yesterday, the last thing that went through its mind of my quick little car was its a***hole  ;D

My eldest when he sits in the front wants to push the Sport botton and is very interested in the TTC switch where only practical demonstrations can show what it really does! The slight disadvantage between the Abarth and the Audi i had befor in the back is that the kids are closer together so if they are not agreeing with each other they annoy each other more but thats what kids do.
