Hello My Abarth Clan..
« on: November 21, 2011, 05:12:57 PM »
Hello All..

My name is Craig and i live in the Midlands, I have always been into either modified cars, Bikes etc and after owning a modified Suzuki Swift i said if i ever buy another car to try and be a fast car i would buy a fast car from scratch. Anyway time passed and i sold the swift and told my mother i would be a good boy and not buy anysilly cars again, Well she passed away a few years ago and when she passed away we bought a Motorhome which we loved dearly but after 1yr and 6mths of money draining trying to run two vehicles one being a Fiat Panda and the other a 7m 7berth Motorhome and the MH costing not far off £1800 a year to run we decided to think and think hard...

This is where it gets hard, Do we loose £14-16k as we bought new and bite the bullet or do we keep it for another two years and only make the same as we would now.... After 3 weeks of hard thinking and alot of man crying we decided she had togo...

But the deal with the wife was MH goes i buy a nice car...

So after looking around at many cars ie BMW 535d, Focus ST, Skoda VRS, Kia Sportage etc etc i went to the Abarth garage at Nuneaton and i just was amazed at what they not only looked like but what you got for the money...

So i sat down with Ben (Great GUY) and we talked and it felt weird as i was going to be handing over 1x Motorhome & 1x Fiat Panda :) but we talked and talked and i asked if i could buy there demo model that had 1500 miles on it, We agreed and we did the deal on the Thursday night and on the saturday morning i took both Mh and Panda to them and drove out with our new pride and joy that can now hold the WIBBLA plates....

So we are now the owners of the car spec'd below:

Abarth 500 Esseesse Koni, With full Koni shocks and springs and the normal SS kits, In white, with the dark grey spoked wheels, & of course the Monza Exhauast  ;D, The only thing i would have liked is HID but hey i aint complaining.

It is said to be spec'd upto just shy of £20k and with 1500miles on it we got it for a great price of £16k plus Panda and we owed £12k so we are well happy, She drives great and turns heads,

I look forward to meeting some of you and joing you lot on any future meets..

Craig

I live in (South) Solihull as per my other post. North or South Coventry? East or West?

So I better keep eyes peeled for you.
