Hey guys, after what must be about 8 months of browsing Its about time I signed up and introduced myself :) after first looking at an A500 for the sister in law earlier in the year (she got a mini :/) it's been on my wish list.

With the finance on my car almost up I've decided it's the one but have no idea what spec to go for! Almost ended up with a 100 mile esseesse last week but the numbers weren't adding up on finance. Looks like its going to be new now but do I go for a completely standard one and get the esseesse kit or go for a few options instead and mod later.

Yesterday I was having a standard esseesse, today it's grey with white or black stripes, climate, leather and the 17 inch wheels, tomorrow who knows! It's likely I'll have it at least 4 years so modding later might be the best option and something I'd always wanted to do.

Looking forward to many a discussion on here and hopefully a few north west meets in the future  :)

it can drive you mad just getting it right, but its well worth it once its sorted, the little car will reward you no end, just ask all the mad abarthisti, you cant go wrong .... SMALL BUT WICKED ! .... you'll be hooked.

Car shoppings the best form of shopping but I'm worse with decisions than she is on what to wear!

Thanks for the warm welcome, going to arrange for a test drive next weekend lets hope my local dealer is more willing with an appointment than when I went in last week!

I'm in Helsby, Cheshire just off the m56, literally 10 minutes from Corkills at Cheshire oaks. Will give them another shot this week if not its off to Bauer millett who seem to have good feedback here. I can't see anything about Corkills on here actually??

I presume you've used the Abarth car configurator, cos it's the best way to get the colour combo, stripes etc sorted :thumb:

Sounds like I'll ditch the cow for some konis then, if I had the money I'd have the lot swmbo has put her foot down on the finances.

Think I'm settled on grey with white stripes, 10 spokes, konis, climate and mirror, off to the dealer it is!

Have to say you've all been very friendly, looking forward to meeting in the future.

To be honest, most of the colour combo's look right, it's down to the individual choice. What's more important to you is what will happen to your life after the car arrives, and if you don't beleive it, just start reading here :thumb:
