I even more or less decided before the test drive! I always wanted an Abarth, it was just matter of affording one  Smiley Childhood dream fulfilled   Grin

Ha ha...... another one who "just took a test drive" and ended up ordering one!

Yes, that was me.......and my still unnamed car is one of the relatively few Pasadoble Red ones.

Have a look at the pics from the Gaydon Auto Italia event (in the Meets and Events thread), if you've not already been there, and you should see examples of all the available colours in the photos!

Welcome, by the way.

Colin

I'll be another one to join as I have ordered the Pasadoble Red and only nearly one week after ordering the wait is getting to me already.

Are there many Abarth 500's in the Essex area as I haven't seen any yet? Thought there was one that pulled up outside my house tonight but it was standard Fiat 500, much to the amusement of my wife. See it's the stress of ordering one!!

Get it in red, what other colour is there for an Italian classic?  Wink I did the same, but went one better as I only went to try out a 1.4 500 at Fiat in Epsom and they had a Red A500 over from Thames that morning so I took iot out as an afterthought. I bought it that afternoon, having previously talked myself out of buying the Abarth over a three-month period.

Red A500 SS, Monza exhaust, black leather, white mirrors, Koni FSDs. Not sure what happens under the bonnet but the car still keeps me smiling......must avoid the technical engine-type posts...

hi and welcome.

went for a look and then test drove one 2 days later and had bought one by the end of the following week  Grin

I was concerned at the time about the alarm, but have not got over that, just don't keep things on show, off street parking or clear out the garage like I did which cuts down on washing  Whistle

also, I now convince myself, ALOT of people don't know what the car is, they still call is a FIAT  Banghead and thus I feel that the thieving buggers go for the audi, mercs and beemers. Also with the abarth being rare on the streets, when you see one you stick out which isn't probably good for thief.

don't worry about it, if you are still worried I think you can get the fiat one for £500.

Cheers and thanks for the advice. I guess my only other thing if is that when they fit it some parts will not go back properly and then you have some nagging squeak or rattle to deal with. Will make a decision soon though.

Status code 13 now for our car and I can't wait. Thumb Up
