nearly proud new owner
« on: November 23, 2011, 04:57:43 PM »
Hi Im Nick,
went into Research in Nuneaton on sunday to look at a white esseesse, but someone had swapped a camper van for it...you know who you are....anyways, really nice guy called Ian,let us (wife and I) loose in a mad green and black one. Liked it so much I ordered a new red one with esseesse koni kit.Might even be ready for this weekend. Was going to get a monza fitted but not sure about paying £800 for a mild steel pipe? Thinking of an Akropovik instead.Anyone got any thoughts on those??Really looking forward to having some fun on the road......Thanks.

Akroprovik is very expensive. Have a look at BTB in the commercial section, particularly this thread:thumb:

Hi, welcome.

Those of us who love the Monza, love the Monza, and it does make a unique sound, so your choice. Plenty of other custom choice's tho. A few of us who were at Goodwood heard the Akro and weren't over impressed

Welcome to the site, wheels look good but i would defo change the caliper colour  ;) As for the Akrapovic system, i have one so i would say its good, but its up to you at the end of the day, I love mine and it sounds superb, its a work of art and too nice to be hidden under the car.
Abarth 500 Esseesse... Campovolo grey, white wheels, red stripes and mirrors, Koni's, skydome, xenons, electrochromatic mirror, red leather, climate control, 17" multispokes, TMC, Akrapovic system and big Brembos, R888's, GTT battery cover.

Thanks for all the good advice about exhausts, think its going to be from BTB,mainly cause they are a brittish company and a quality product..they also have a good rep for performance pipes. The mad green wheels by the way were on the car we demoed from Research Abarth in Nuneaton.Mine will be a Red car with anthracite esseesse wheels.I prefer a more understated look..
