New A500 - Esseesse Owner :-)

Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a member of this forum for many months now and have been reading your posts with enthusiam. I have owned a FIAT 500 1.2 Lounge, and as an everyday car has been superb. However, I am a complete petrolhead and have always wanted an A500, so this morning I popped down to Rockingham Cars and have just bought an A500-ESSEESSE (picking it up on the 30th Oct) - Now, I've got almost 2 weeks to wait!!!!!
Here's the spec
A500 white
Red leather interior
Red side-strips with red mirrors
Auto-dimming rear view mirror
Climate Control
ESSEESSE Kit - With White wheels
Monza Exhaust.

See if it's more fun than the GT3...

I'd give thought to the Koni shocks before the Monza for a real improvement, then get the Monza after you've saved up a bit more and appreciate the noise.

Are you a PH fan too??? Guess my username gave it away......Guess I'll be able to use the full rev range with the A500 on the road - GT3 is super rapid and can't really max it out on the road - On the track, however, it's a different ball game altogether. Have been invited to Rockingham on the 29th - day b4 I get my esseesse and will be driving a few A500's and might take the GT3 for a few laps too

It's the username.  But as a seasoned Abarthisto (it doesn't take long) I searched your other post from August.

In the absence of my own track I've always thought most cool cars a bit of a waste.  The Abarth is great for normal life; an Elise is too impractical otherwise my hard-earned would be there.  I think you can get away with much more on a bike, but why would I want anything bigger than a 600?

I need to do more trackdays.  And/or have loads more cash.

Another Porsche refugee I am selling my Cayman 3.4 S and getting an A500 to replace it with   :thumb:

well if I say so myself, what a lovely spec  :thumb: you will love the monza, such fun, and the esseesse is deffo a loreal thing....

Afraid not! Keeping the GT3 as a weekend car - A500 is going to be my daily commute  ;D

Cheers. Sold my 1.2 lounge to my neighbour today, he's giving me the money weds, number plate being transferred now, SS kit being fitted on Monday/Tuesday.......should be ready Thurs/Fri............Am dead excited, like a kid in a sweet shop
