new to abarth ownership
« on: January 26, 2012, 05:23:47 PM »
hi all
my wife and myself went to wessex garage to get her a new kia soul and we ended up buying her car and a abarth 500 for me.(its something i always fancied)
i went for the red leather interior with white paint and red mirrors with 17 inch wheels. as soon as i picked it up i went and had italian stripes to the bonnet and boot and 500 logos to the mirrors.
i love driving the car and get loads of looks from people in the know, not everyone has heard of abarth and they think its a standard fiat 500.i own a small  jewellers shop and my staff can't understand why I've gone for something so small, I'm used to jags and i even p-exed a 08 plate convertible bmw for my abarth so there must be something about them.i still have a land rover defender if i feel the need for something bigger but upto now I've only used the 500.

Hello and welcome
They laugh at us because we are different, We pity them because they are all the same.

Just give a quick search on the forum and have a look in the commercial section.  :thumb:

Since you refer to Wessex and buying a Kia from the same dealer, I assume this means you are from the Bristol area?....... in which case, have a look in the Meets/Events section and you will notice that the next area meet is scheduled for 9th Feb and you would be more than welcome to come along and meet some fellow Abarthisti. There's a steadily growing number of us in the area.
