HI guys

Got my A500 1st Sept 09 (59 plate) from romford. Love it so much.. it's white, red leather, elec skydome glass roof,17 inch 10 spokes,chrome mirrors and I had all my own graphics done (side stripes and windows) .
Zero miles then ... just over 10k now and it just gets better!

 Have had some lovely cars over the years. Traded in a brand new ford s-max 2.2 titanium x for the Abarth, best thing i ever did! The A500 was our 2nd car, my pride n joy "was" my BMW 330ci M sport individual, a stunning car fast and fully loaded. Alas the poor old beemer got left out , just not as exciting as the Italian pocket rocket. So it just had to go and I don't ever miss it..... especially not at the petrol station!

Just thought I'd introduce myself, yay - not a forum virgin anymore!

Have you got any pics of your custom stripes? id love to see them! i know what you mean about it getting better over time
ive not had mine for as long as you but Its easily the best car ive ever had! ive never had so many people come up and ask me about it
either they just make people happy as soon as they see them! Im goin to keep mine for as long as i can!

Are the forum police bad then mate?

Got loads or photos of the car but don't know where to start with putting them on to show you. Not only was I a forum virgin , but I'm a bit of a computer virgin too! I'm too old for all this computer lark - all I wanna do is drive the car.... and the faster the better!

Met up with a few others sat eve up southend it was a laugh. Where were you?

My stripes are over sized in black but they start from the front bumper vents not the doors and break like the standard stripes towards the back arches. Got some window graphics on the sides at the back ( a little bit of Italian) I'm in two minds at the moment - I think want to get something on the roof!

What are your stripes like, are they standard but in red ? Coz I aint seen any other black stripes. I wanted to keep mine different!

Mine are the standard black stripes, i had the same thinking... I wanted to be different, everyone has the red stripes and in my oppinion on a white car the black ones look best!

Im not a fan of the whole southend and lakeside thing I was all over it as a kid but ive seen too many hooligan crashes into parked cars for me to take my pride and joy down there

sayin that i would like to do a meet at some point to put some faces to names!

It makes me laugh. the way you talk about your stickers is like they are tattoos! ha ha!

I got my abarthisti sticker through last week! that is in my rear window now!

Know what you mean about the sea front and Lakeside . I'm a bit old for that myself now (35) just wanted to meet up with some other owners. Went to Silverstone a couple of months back that was good.

my "tats" are like that but I had "Abarth" done in red , so it don't show the body color . Least we won't look like twins if we meet up!

Maybe sort out a little meet up - me , you , jack and any other locals you know?

 Maybe meet up one evening then? You and your mate from Brentwood could meet up, me and Jack could meet up and all make our way to the Half way house or somewhere like that on the A127?
