Still got the standard shocks and to be honest the ride isn't that bumpy, i replaced the standard bumpstops for the coupe ones so that's helped the ride and I don't feel the urgency to get konis fitted now! all in all a worthwhile upgrade and improvement in looks and handling  :thumb:

Look at you go with your 'lowered' suspension :D You Chav

Mate, car looks better everytime I see it, did you get all the bits including the new bump stops through Daron?

Gota agree, when you pulled outa Bluewater afew weeks ago I really did feel abit dissapointed with the G-Tech lol as the BTB sounds EPIC when that valves open :thumb: Whats next???

Chris I'll take the chav as a compliment ;D
Yeah got springs and brake lines/ fluid from Daron and got coupe bumps from AECAR.com
No more for me at the moment although may get konis and wheels in the future, I thought your GTech sounded great so no need to worry about that! Although I'm well happy with my BTB and your right when the valve opens people look ;D

Shame the old weather and nights are settin in on us as there are quite a few interesting modded cars in the SE section now and would have been great to get em on a run somewhere.

See how the run upto christmas goes and maybe we're sort out another group run somewhere

So its just the rear bumper stops that we need is it?

And if you go for coilovers these work fine with them too?

Yes :thumb:

The coilovers on the rear aren't coilovers anyway, so the car will still be on normal springs ;)

I'm hardly an expert in the field, but I'll try to make sense of it...

Usually on a coilover kit, the spring is fitted on the damper, and is usually adjustable for height. On the A500 there isn't the space for this type of system on the back, so the spring has to sit seperate from the damper and in the standard spring pockets. This also means the rear ride height connot be changed without changing to different springs, unlike the fronts which would be changable simply by winding the spring collars on the dampers. If you google some images it should all make sense :thumb:
