Hello everyone!

I recently joined both the forums and the ranks of Abarth owners.
Below is my pride - Fatty.
Me and the wife came up with the name because he has got such a fat bum :D

I recently sold my Exo X owing to insane maintenance and running costs to and from work.
In it's place I bought a 1.2 08 Corsa to take the brunt of the daily commute and Fatty, my A500 SS for a weekend toy.
We picked up Fatty from Meridian Modena in Lyndhurst (not the Abarth part of the dealership, fatty had high aspirations and was on sale in the Ferrari dealership!)

Initially tempted to sell and go for a celebrity edition which came up this weekend, I resisted already forming a bromance with Fatty and spent the week washing and drying him before putting him under cover until next weekend when I will fully detail him.

Based out of South Wales, I hope to see some of you out and about!

what a lovely combo  :thumb: all you need is a monza to finish and BOOM you will have the dark side of the force to mine. loving the just red mirrors and red leather, looks great!

I was looking at a Monza, but a few people on these forums have said they rust from the inside out and are not as load as a TypeN.
Since Fatty only comes out on the weekend, the more noise the merrier!
I've been considering a custom TypeN to allow me to tweak the noise a bit.  Not sure yet.

Future plans are for a TMC, Koni's, matt black powder coating the wheels and a Forge dump valve.
None of that before Fatty gets some TLC in the paintshop to remove the few stone chips on his front end though.

I've really enjoyed the odd looks, smiles and laughter that Fatty gets from other people on the road so far.  No regrets on selling the Evo so far.

Looking good :thumb: One thing about the exhaust, and I will get spanked for this, is that the Monza makes a lovely sound. It's more than just about noise :thumb:

The Monza sounds awesome it's about the music not the volume  ;D, oh and it's surface corrosion, not rotting inside out, but the scabby bits are hidden from view anyway  :P

Have to ask are you the Miz Cenuij of GM fame?

Now I can't bloody decide on an exhaust!
I really want group n type, but so many people saying Monza btw!
Pro Speed Exhausts in Cardiff will do a group N style cheaper than Ragazzon and have amazing reviews.
Think I will give em a go and if I'm not happy go with a Monza.

As im still considering getting an Abarth the colour options are now:

Red.
Black.
White.
