Looks nice, I've vowed to turn my abarth into a bit of a hobby and get into a bit of detailing this year. Think I'll wait till the weather improves though.

Do I spot the type r in the background? How do you find the difference between the two?

Yeh well spotted the Type R is my eldest sons. Its a lovely drive, But you got to rev it to get the best out of it and its a bit of a jerky ride, i find it hard to drive smoothly. In saying that i haven't driven it loads so i suppose with practice i could improve.

I can tell you2 ways on how to keep your wheels looking like new

1, wash weekly and do backs also. Remove regularly and polish completely

2, don't drive in bad weather and get a new set every year.

As it is a rare sunny day in Scotland today I also washed my a500.  I have had my car just over 3 months now and I normally wash it every week or second week depending on how bad the weather is.  The roads are covered in salt up here so I know as soon as I take the car out on the road again it will get dirty again.   :'(. I'm glad it's a small car so doesn't take long to hand wash! :thumb:

Nice classic colour/wheel combo :thumb:

So whats your sons opinion on the little Abarth compared to his R? I know mine is well down on the sub 200bhp of Type-Rs but Im still waiting to have a play with one as I reckon the low down torque against the Rs high rev range could be for an interesting drive;)

Look forward to seeing more pic's, some next to your sons R would be great :D

Hes not driven it yet but i took my youngest son out in a500 today and gave it a boot full and he was loving it, he even said its a great car and believe me that coming from a 14 year old who's been out with his brother in the type R is saying something ;D I defiantly think the abarth picks up quicker than the type R but the R is more powerful and driven right will leave the a500 but i bet it won't be too far behind :thumb:
