Friday the 17th was the day I finally picked up my 500 esseesse after 1,5 years of saving and dreaming.

The car was waiting at dealer
Auto Ital. It was waiting together with a gorgeus Grey Tributo Ferrari that was going to a rich fisherman on the west coast of Norway

Too bad it was pouring down so didn't get to see enough of that one..
My car is a 2011 500 esseesse with all the extras save Skydome and Interscope (not available with factory mounted Sabelts..) it has the Koni handling kit, Sabelt Racing seats in Leather, Alcantara and Cordura, Record Monza Dual Mode exhaust and Blue & Me Map with telemetry, Xenons, Auto Dipping mirror etc etc.

Met fellow 500fans member Holtani in Oslo and in the rain we got under roof at McDonalds.

A shopping trip to sweden is a must

Has to be detailed...

And then we went to visit fellow 500fans members Wreckmaster and Guttemamma in Moss, very nice to finally meet them

If you venture into the 500fans forum you can't have missed Wreckmasters posts.

Two happy 500 fans.

On the way back I had to take this: 333 Half Evil

Auto Ital has done a photoshoot of my car with the Tributo Ferrari and you can find some of the pictures
Here It might end up as a magazine article

Only one thing I am not so happy with. The German dealer mounted both the engine and the rear esseesse badges in the wrong place. New badges is on order from Ebay and will be replaced ASAP.
I am also having big trouble pairing the Blue&Me Map unit to the car, but I'll get there eventually

All in all I am very happy and just a little bit scared.. I am not used to fast cars after driving 70 hp cars for the last 5 years, and no car for the 10 years before.. The car drives so much better than my old 500 1.2 The grip is endless, the seats sucks me in, and I find them very comfortable. It reminds me of the Ritmo (Strada) Abarth 130 TC I used to have when I was 20.
The car is poised and stable compared to the rental 500 I've been driving the last 3 months. It Was like sitting down on a dining chair when I got into the rent-a-500 to take it back to AVIS on monday...
Here is a poor quality video that gives a little hint about the sound from the Monza (Sorry DF, got no bangs from it then, but I do now

). I just love the Monza..
Next up now is a proper detail of the whole car and getting some Swissvax on him.. BTW we call him (G)RÃ¥tass (you have to be Norwegian to get that one) A new thread will of course be the result
