picked up thursday then 500 miles in the lakes to run her in!!!

Hello All

New to forum but got car last thursday,she is called telula and she is a hoot!!!

Just one thing she has a rattle/vibey noise when you change gear and engine runs on any ideas almost sounds like a heatshield rattle but all seems tight please any ideas
below are some pics hope you enjoy!!!!!done two ways sorry didnt know if this will work.

great pics! The niggly rattle could just the cars peronality and its wearing in time don't forget, how do you mean the engine runs on do the revs increase?

Revs dont rise it just does it when you clutch it ie not under load

when you switch from clutch to accelerator
just if you hover on the throttle difficult to explain,thought it might just be a charactor of the car!!

is it at every gear change hot or cold? Kee n eye on it over the next 50 miles or so, if still concerned have it checked  :thumb:

I've also noticed this noise / vibration from mine too after I dip the cluth it seems to run on or something is vibrating in sync with the motor.  It seems to come from in front of the firewall more or less in front of me (drivers side).  Not sure whether it's meant to sound like that but i've now done just over 3000 miles and no issues yet.

Just picked up ours at the weekend and we too appear to have a strange noise when changing gear hard to explain though.

wow just maybe its supposed to be like that ??? ???regarding the noise

yes we have the roof was great in the sunny weather!!!upto 60mph ok but at 80 ish its very noisy  ;D ;D
but if ya tall it does make a difference to roof height ;)

oh and road is honister pass from buttermere to keswick, early evening not too much traffic :thumb:

beutiful shots there and the cars looking ace :)

i like the abarth logo on the number plate :thumb: .1 thing though...can you get pulled for that?i wanted one but then heard you can get pulled for having the car brand logo or any other image on the side of the plate. ???

not sure if plod care as long as you dont mess with font/size/spacing of letters
Been told that if you do you can be pulled so left that standard :thumb:

hmmm id like the subtle logo on the side. i used to have the standard uk 3d lettering on the punto which i thought looked great.i am thinking of getting it done again on abi next year when iv figured out if im getting a private plate or not.

not just spacing and font, they pull people for non approved emblems where the GB badge goes
