Right - I need some views here. The options are: 1. Leave the splitter as it is; 2. Have it sprayed Campovolo Grey; 3. Have it sprayed a different black finish as, at present, it is not the same finish as any of the other black on the car. I think this one is difficult given that it will be hard to achieve. There are many of my friends who believe there is a fourth option - take it off - so I'll leave that one open to you all as well ( ) I'm favouring option 2 at present. What do you think?

Leave as is. Spraying CG will not result in a colour match and will just look odd.

Spray it CG, black will not match up unless you get it all painted. Martin

1. ok looks great as it is 2. we are thinking about it too, my mate sprays, he says fibreglass is no problem to spray, just needs a good build up of etching primer, 5 or 6 coats, before final top coat. 3. Dont bother, try a plastic/rubber conditioner, i tried some Autosmart hystyle on our splitter, and its made it more black, rather than the out of the mould colour and it matches the grill black alot better. 4. Tell your mates they have no style, bet they all drive kia's (not that its a bad car, 7 year warantee and all) . 5. Have it wrapped, we are thinking carbon fibre wrap, they could probably wrap it the same colour as your car. 6. Dont take it off, it looks great, you can do one of above at anytime. 7. put some stickers on it 8. tell your mates they have no style again. (they have no style as they dont drive 500a) 9. pending Kev

9. Have interchangeable splitters, one grey, one black, one with stickers on etc, not have one on at all, when your mates visit.
10. Tell your mates ,,,,,,,,,,,,

I think it looks really good so would leave it as it is If you have it sprayed CG and it doesn't match you might have no option but to take it off

Car looks lovely, but if I'm being honest the splitter looks a bit too OTT, bonnet vents on the other hand....

Ooooh, thank you chaps. What a divergence of views which is the best thing about A500's! I wondered about setting to it with some sort of cleaning product - thanks Kev, that's my day sorted then..... As to bonnet vents, Milo won't be going that way but Si, if you do, pictures please! I do really hope someone does it as I think it would look great (without a splitter)! I'll let you know how Milo gets on.
