Here is our new A500C. Rather subtle except from the rear. What do you think ?

I am looking at changing the rear pipework for a cat back bypass and box and then re profiling the ECU but I keep hearing the Monza is cheap mild steel.

Indeed.

The standard Monza that is offered by most people is mild steel.
For me that was the reason not to buy one at that price to be honest.

A stainless steel version is available too, but that will set you back over £1,100.

For that sort of money, I would personally go for a custom system.

Have a look at TMC Motorsports (also a forum member) they have good performance kits (add on box, instead of remap).

We were lucky in that the Dealer had just got the showroom model in and we bought it before he could change his mind. Manual with black leather. No red stripes. I am a bit disappointed in the zinc galvanised disk callipers as they look cheap under the 17s but everything else is class.

Hah ! That garage has 9 windsurfers, 11 sails, 1 1967 Fiat 500F non synchro dead gearbox, 1 Fiat 500R non synchro dead gearbox, 5 bicycles and a lawn mower. Too right it needs a clean out. Where am I to keep the new toy?
