Hozepipes ones are Silver, funny really on a normally A500 the darker wheel would probally work really well but if Im honest the standard 695 looks so nice the ProRaces make it look kinda cheaper if you know what I mean.

Out of interest wouldnt it have been cheaper to have sourched a set of Petals or Chrome Multispokes for winter use?

Don't think they fit over the front brake callipers  :thumb:

Oh, I thought both the new ProRaces and the Ferrari style wheels where both 17"s?

Correct. but the offset is greater to give more clearance for the brakes

Are the 695/ProRace wheels the same offset as the SS wheels (arent they 38 or something)

Right, so what are the standard 16" and 17" wheels?

Do the ET30 offset need the wobble bolts like the ET35 SS wheels?

I think standard are et 37
wobble bolts are only needed if the stud pattern is different.
think standard is 4x98 but i think possibly 4x100 on the 695 because the hubs are different.

Pro Race wheels are made specifically for the car with Et 30 in this case to clear the front calipers, these are 17" like the factory alloy but the offset gives more clearance for the larger calipers. They are also much lighter than the standard alloys.

Daron is correct. None of the 500 combos will fit over the 695's Brembos. John501 said the APE 17s would probably have fitted but Daron's solution at £120/corner were the most cost effective solution and look pretty similar. Several people have commented that they prefer the darker graphite grey of the Pros. Personally, I like the standard wheel's silver/grey but they are too expensive for just for a winter tyre option.

As I haven't worn a coat for the past week and we are now into March, I thought it was time to change back to my standard wheels and tyres. The winter tyres looked as good as new :thumb:

I feel much better now Wallnutz is back to original 'summer' plumage, although having done this, its probably going to snow next week.  :-\
