Looks good.  Only thing I'd say is the "Hello user" box in the top left should be smaller.  Maybe drop the font size by 1 so it is the same size as used in the rest of the site.

Well done Alex, thank you for all your efforts. I know only too well the amount of work and time that is required to push a new website and forum Live! :thumb: :thumb:

Alex - What a great makeover. I totally agree that the provious "Abarth Forum" image was a little nerdy. Are you thinking of merchandise for the "Abarthisti" then?

Maybe a nice subtle teeshirt in grey with red writing?

Don't worry, your computer hasn't malfunctioned.  You haven't clicked on the wrong website by mistake.  This is still the Abarth Forum.

I've always felt the name 'Abarth Forum' was a little… well, nerdy.  I could never imagine it printed on a T-shirt, for instance.  So, after a rummage through the internet and a shortlist of alternatives, I settled on this: Abarthisti.

'Abarthisti', in case you've not heard of it before, is the term given to fans of the Abarth brand, its vehicles, and the man himself.  A bit like 'Tifosi' for Ferrari fans.

To support the new name, there's a new website - Abarthisti.co.uk - which carries information about the cars, what we get up to, etc.

The forum will continue to be available at the AbarthForum.co.uk address but, as you've already noticed, has received something of a make-over to match the layout of the new site.

For the interested, the theme is based on the red and grey of the classic Abarth colour scheme, and is matched by the banner of the 500 Assetto Corse at the top of the screen.  If you find the banner overpowering, you can hide it by clicking the arrows at the right-hand edge.

I recognise it is quite a radical change, and it will take a couple of days to get used to.  Despite looking at it for several months myself while putting it together, it still felt a little strange when I started using it full-time.  However, after a day, the old layout looked terrible when I flicked back to it briefly.

So, have a poke around, take some time to get used to it, then let me know what you think.  :thumb:

NB: Some people may need to clear their browser's cache for the new layout to appear correctly.

I only just found this. Fail!
