I could really use a hand looking after the day-to-day running of the forum.

Ideally, I could do with two or three moderators who can spend a bit of time looking after things if I'm not around.

I'd also quite like to be able to take a back seat every now and then, safe in the knowledge that the forum is in the hands of a responsible moderator team, so that I can look after issues with the forum's systems or just to take time off to avoid burn-out!

What's involved?  Well, it's mostly just ensuring that the policies and the spirit of the forum are followed, and that includes dealing with spammers, ensuring topics are in the right place and stay (reasonably!) on-topic, keeping the dealers in check (Grin), stopping the place getting over-run with non-Abarth-ians, that kind of thing.  I'd produce some guidelines so it was clear what's acceptable and what isn't.

Does anyone feel like helping out?

Drop me a PM, or ask questions in this thread.  Cheers!  Wave

Wow, I never thought I'd be spoilt for choice!  Grin

In the end, I've asked Jet, euroboy and Im-mia to give it a shot.

I felt the three would work well together - Jet with the GPA areas, euroboy with the 500 gang, and Im-mia as a kind of 'wanderer' stepping in occasionally with a few positives in the more general areas.  Nothing's set in stone, though, so they're free to poke their noses in wherever they see fit.

They're also free to continue to use the forum as members, and are just as entitled to express their own opinions as they always were, so I hope everyone will continue to treat them as members first, and moderators second.

Thanks, guys!  Thumb Up

Careful Im-Mia, you may be a global moderator but you can still get a slap from the "uber moderator" Grin
